2007 Training Course and Sailing Rates

All bookings are subject to availability and must be secured with a deposit/full payment. See below.

'Sail out of the Office' Corporate Days

Sail out of the Office on an Outrun team building or training day. By their nature, these are bespoke to your needs - so please contact us and we'll talk through the details of what you need, what we can offer, and our fees.

Please remember that we're more than happy to arrange all the extra bits to help make your time with us seamlessly complete (saving you time and hassle) - accommodation, luxury lunches, afternoon tea hampers, professional trainers, conference facilities - anything at all, please just ask.

'Love the Lake' Plain Sailing

Skippered daytime charter £100 per hour for up to 6 people ( minimum 3 hours).

Sundowner cruise 5-7 pm

Price includes light refreshments. We will be happy to provide extra catering on request.

We receive many and varied requests for Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Celebrations and the occasional Wedding Proposal. We're very good at keeping secrets, arranging gourmet food hampers, champagne, flowers, serenading waiters and the like. Just ask - we'll do our very best to arrange everything!

Royal Yachting Association Courses

The standard charge for all the above RYA courses is £100 per person per day based on four people. Price includes course materials, safety equipment and RYA logbooks and certificates.

Check our boatfiller dates and ring to book. Full payment is required at time of booking.

A yacht can be booked exclusively for upto four people to do a course together for £400 per day. Full payment is required on booking.

If 2 of you are booking a course there are three options:

  1. You may book the boat for your chosen dates and leave us to advertise the vacant spaces using our boat filler scheme where spare places are advertised on the website. We will match you with people of similar ability and will charge our normal daily rate of £100 per person. We will try and find other people until the day before your course but if we are unable to do so you will be charged £150 per person per day for exclusive use of the boat.
  2. Check our boat filler dates for a course and date to suit you. The rate for boatfillers is £100 per person per day.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for 6 hours sailing (a great leaving gift for a work colleague, or a birthday gift for that person who already has everything!) - £100 per person

Booking Information

All payments can be made by cheque to "outrun sailing ltd" or by credit card.

Once you have booked we will issue an Invoice confirming the course details and the price. A Contract will then exist between us. Please check the details of your Invoice carefully. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.

If you have paid a deposit for a course you will be required to pay the balance 4 weeks prior to your course. This final payment date will be included in your Invoice. Failure to pay the final payment on time could result in cancellation of your course and loss of your deposit (we’ll send you a reminder in case you’ve just forgotten)

Insurance

We recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance for your needs prior to your course. We cannot be held responsible for your costs if you fail to do so.

Cancellation

If you cancel your course more than 14 days before your course start date, the cancellation charge will be your deposit. Cancellation 14 days or less before your course will result in a cancellation charge of 100% of the cost of your course.

Although sailing is obviously a weather dependent activity it is uncommon for us to have to cancel courses because of too much or too little wind. If this is a possibility we will try and discuss it with you prior to your course (hence the importance of contact details on your booking form). If a course has to be cancelled because of adverse weather we will re-arrange the course at a convenient time for you.
