2014 Training Course and Sailing Rates
All bookings are subject to availability and must be secured with a deposit/full payment. See below.
Skippered Charter
Skippered charter for up to 6 people per boat:
- Half day - from £300 (3 hours)
- Full day - from £400 (6 hours)
Evening cruise 2-3 hours
Evening cruise for up to 6 people per boat:
- For upto 6 people - £300
Price includes light refreshments. We will be happy to provide extra catering on request.
We receive many and varied requests for Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Celebrations and the occasional Wedding Proposal. We're very good at keeping secrets, arranging gourmet food hampers, champagne, flowers, serenading waiters and the like. Just ask - we'll do our very best to arrange everything!
Royal Yachting Association Courses
- RYA Level 1 Keelboat Course – Start Sailing

- RYA Seamanship Skills Course – Sailing Ahead
The standard charge for most of the above 2 day RYA courses is £250 per person per course based on four people. Price includes course materials, safety equipment and RYA logbooks and certificates.

A yacht can be booked exclusively for up to four people to do a course together for £450 per day. Full payment is required on booking.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for all of our RYA courses - from £50
Booking Information
- Before you book your course, we recommend that you discuss your requirements with us – by phone or email.
- When you are happy with the date and the course, please contact us to confirm your booking.
Pay the full cost of the course. All payments can be made by cheque to "outrun sailing ltd" or by debit/credit card.
Once you have booked we will issue an Invoice confirming the course details and the price. A Contract will then exist between us. Please check the details of your Invoice carefully. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.
Insurance
We recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance for your needs prior to your course. We cannot be held responsible for your costs if you fail to do so.
Cancellation
If you cancel your course/charter and we do not receive a suitable replacement booking the cancellation charge will be 100% of the course/charter fee.
Although sailing is obviously a weather dependent activity it is uncommon for us to have to cancel courses because of too much or too little wind. If this is a possibility we will try and discuss it with you prior to your course (hence the importance of contact details on your booking form). If a course has to be cancelled because of adverse weather we will re-arrange the course at a convenient time for you.
